Yorktown Partners LLC is an independently owned and operated asset management firm dedicated to making private equity investments in the energy sector. Historically, the Yorktown team has invested nearly $8 billion in more than 90 companies. The majority of investments are in the business of oil and gas production (upstream), pipe lines, gathering systems and processing/fractionation plants (midstream) and to a lesser extent energy related manufacturing and services. Although Yorktown does invest abroad, the majority of the investments are domiciled in North America with all investments being located onshore.
