Overview

When Aequitas was co-founded by CEO Robert (Bob) Jesenik in 1993 after a career in commercial banking, Bob understood better than most that companies in underserved industries who did not qualify for a bank loan had nowhere to go to get the financing they needed, no matter how great the business' potential was. He believed then that credit and equity capital -- properly structured and accompanied by operational oversight and expertise -- was a better answer for promising enterprises. He proved to be right.
