Prior to forming Ashby Point Capital, co-founders Bill and Jim received broad industry experience at First Annapolis Consulting, the premier consulting and mergers and acquisitions firm within the payments and financial services industry. While they were with First Annapolis they helped create Partners First, a credit card joint venture which sold to Wachovia Bank. They also advised in the creation of Merchant Alliances, joint ventures in the merchant acquiring business that restructured the industry.
