Celer Network was founded in 2018 by Computer Science PhDs from MIT, Princeton, UC Berkeley and UIUC with the goal to bring blockchain technology to mass adoption. In 2019, Celer Network launched the world's first Generalized State Channel Network on mainnet that has allowed users on the same blockchain to interact with each other in real-time while maintaining scalability.
