New online directory offers small business owners centralized location to find technology providers.
As technology continues to advance at an astoundingly rapid rate, entrepreneurs may begin to feel left behind in small business news.
However, in an effort to make sure that this sector is able to stay up-to-date with technology, American Express OPEN is sponsoring The Small Business Web's online directory.
The directory will serve as a free resource for businesses looking to find service providers in areas such as customer relationship management, invoicing services, shopping carts, shipping fulfillment and email marketing.
"The caliber of The Small Business Web member companies and the depth of their respective integrations means small business owners can access the same tools and technologies as big companies," said Michelle Riggen-Ransom, CCO of BatchBlue Software and co-founder of the Small Business Web.
Small business owners are increasingly adopting personal technologies to make managing their day-to-day tasks easier. A survey from Techaisle found that small businesses have purchased 2 million iPads for an adoption rate of 20 percent.
