Small business owners who want to learn more about public relations will soon get a brand-new chance, thanks to an announcement by Small Business PR Course.
The company announced that it was taking its signature product, the Small Business PR Course, out of beta and would be launching it live in the next few days. The two-hour course features seven different topics of focus, including how to make press releases, researching media, how to set up interviews with different outlets and how to use social media tools for events.
"Small business owners are often caught in the incredibly frustrating position of wanting to use PR to increase their visibility, but not knowing how to do it and lacking the resources to hire expert PR professionals," said Justin Christman, director of Small Business PR Course regarding the news for small business owners. "This course was designed specifically with them in mind."
There are many tools for small business owners who are trying to get a better handle on their public relations. Small business owners can find a "best practices" guide at the American Marketing Association's website, MarketingPower.com.
