Ikor acts as an advocate for its elderly and disabled clients. Franchisees create and oversee each client's medical, environmental, legal and financial life plans.

The franchise was started by Patricia Maisano, RN, in 2000 specifically to meet the needs of the elderly and the disabled. Franchising with Ikor does not just make you a business owner, you become a voice for the elderly and disabled.
For clients, Ikor will provide a wide range of care management services. Advocacy, care planning and coordination, guardianship, financial management and routine bill payment services are some of the services available.
For franchisees, Ikor provides two weeks of extensive training at their Pennsylvania headquarters. This is followed by three days of hands-on, on-site supervision. The proprietary DatIKORsm system will help you with all the business management record keeping. Ikor will also provide all the remote assistance a franchisee can use.
