Thinking about opening a Crusaders church? We tell you what you need to know to get started.
What is Crusaders Church?
Crusaders Church in Chicago is the international headquarters for Apostle John Eckhardt and his IMPACT Network. Functioning as the equipping arm of an independent (non-denominational) church and ministry, the IMPACT Network trains men and women for ministry and church planting. The IMPACT Network also serves as the oversight organization for IMPACT ministries and churches in covenant partnership.
To begin the process of planting a Crusaders church through the IMPACT Network, the first step is to contact an IMPACT representative and complete an Affiliation Application. Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to obtain ministerial ordination or personal affiliation status as well as affiliation status for your church.
How to Develop New Ideas for a Church Plant
Most religious entrepreneurs put incredible pressure on themselves to come up with the next big idea. For sure, coming up with new ideas is part of an entrepreneur's job description. But the success of your Crusaders church can't hinge exclusively on your ideas. You'll also need to learn how to solicit ideas from your staff.
Successful business startups know how to capture innovative ideas from staff members. Many businesses, from small companies to major corporations, incorporate idea generation into their teams' job descriptions and work schedules. Although it's counterproductive to invest too much time in idea generation (after all, your church won't run itself), it's similarly unwise to discourage innovation and experimentation from your ministry team.
