Founded in 2017 based on research performed at the Uppsala University Ångström Laboratory, Altris offers highly sustainable battery technology to enable a renewable future. Altris has since scaled up the production of the Fennac cathode from lab, via pilot, to today's small scale industrial production. Our GWh scale production facility in Sandviken, Sweden is under construction and scheduled to open late 2023.Altris also designs, produces, and licenses cells, electrolyte and production processes for customer specific needs.
