In 2022, Kalm Therapeutics was born out of a personal struggle. Founder and CTO AJ Singhal's six-year-old daughter, a budding swimmer, faced worsening eczema from participating in swim team. What began as a promising summer quickly turned into a nightmare as painful, itchy rashes flared up in the creases of her elbows, making it nearly impossible for her to enjoy the water she loved so much.
