Franchise Profile — Donatos Pizza, Inc.
Donatos Pizza was founded in 1963 by Jim Grote, a college sophomore at the Ohio State University. With $1,300 in his pocket and a dream to own his own business, Jim bought a small pizzeria on the south side of Columbus, Ohio and went to work with his parents creating a business that was truly unique.
From the beginning Jim knew that to be successful, he would have to employ three basic fundamentals: create a superior product, surround himself with great people, and run a business with strong, identifiable principles. Jim also sought to promote goodwill in the neighborhood and made it a point to "treat everyone as he wanted to be treated."
The result of Jim's hard work and philosophy has resulted in one of the nation's most successful pizza restaurants known for its top quality product and excellent service.
Donatos is currently seeking new Franchise Partners for Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Philadelphia, PA and Orlando, FL
