This year's CES has a lot of gadgets that might interest entrepreneurs.
It may be good news for small business owners to learn that this year's Consumer Electronics Show is giving some tech love to SMBs. Main Street recently released a report on some of the hottest SMB-friendly products at CES.
One popular item is a docking station from HB that easily enables a laptop screen to be shared office-wide. To use the device, entrepreneurs can simply connect their laptops to the docking station and then connect other monitors to show the same display.
Another hot item is the low-cost Compulab Fit PC. The small computer runs on a fraction of the energy consumed by the average PC. Not only is it cheap to purchase, but it will help cut overall office electricity bills.
Main Street also predicts that the 3M MPro Pico Projector will become a "killer sales tool." For the low price of $385, entrepreneurs can buy this palm-sized projector. The compact gadget makes it easy to give presentations anywhere an SMB hosts sales meetings.
Small business owners might be well-advised to take advantage of these new gadgets to impress potential clients this year; a report from eMarketer suggests that consumers are positive about tech advancements this season.
