Business Technology Simplified seeks to help entrepreneurs
Microsoft has teamed up with the U.S. Small Business Administration to develop a new tool for entrepreneurs. The program, Business Technology Simplified, was created in order to help owners learn about some essential elements of running a small business operation. The guide includes an introduction by legendary Lakers forward Earvin "Magic" Johnson, who has started an extremely successful company.
The leader of the SBA, Karen G. Mills, said that the guidebook would help small business owners around the country find out about the resources at their disposal.
"Our goal as an agency is to get information, tools and services into the hands of small business owners more quickly so they can spend more time doing what they do best – creating the jobs that will drive our economic recovery," said Mills when discussing the technology news for small business. "This new guidebook is one more tool available to support small business growth through access to information and resources."
Future business leaders will soon be able to get advice from one of the best NBA players of all time in an upcoming speech. Johnson will speak at the commencement ceremony at Michigan State, his alma mater.
