SEPPURE creates sustainable nanofiltration solutions to separate chemical mixtures at a molecular level with minimal energy use. Up to 15% of the world's total energy is spent on industrial-scale chemical separations. This is economically and environmentally inefficient. SEPPURE is disrupting the energy-intensive chemical separation processes, such as distillation and evaporation, through the introduction of novel chemical-resistant nanofiltration membranes. SEPPURE's sustainable process does not use heat, thus lowering global energy use, emissions, and pollution substantially.
